Application to Register an Amendment to By-Laws

An application to register an amendment to the by-laws of a credit union.

With the application are sent the following completed form and a copy of the related minutes of meeting:

  1. a comparative listing of each change approved by the members showing the wording of both the current and the proposed changes motioned
  2. details of the resolution or motion duly passed at a meeting of the members, authorizing the amendment. A signed copy of the minutes of the meeting showing such resolution must be forwarded. All sheets outlining by-law amendments to be signed by the Secretary and three other members.
  3. the prescribed registration fee of $50.00.

All applications to register an amendment to By-Laws and related documentation should be forwarded to Credit Union Deposit Guarantee Corporation at the address noted above. An electronic copy of By-Laws (prior to changes) should be forwarded via e-mail to: sarahslaney@gov.nf.ca.
